The VHS-BILDUNGSWERK GmbH (www.bildungswerk.de) is a non-profit and certified company for vocational and continuing education as well as child and youth welfare. As an associate DAA Foundation company the VHS-BILDUNGSWERK has more than 20 locations in Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Thuringia. The company's entire activity is based on the challenge of "lifelong learning". Our company is involved in numerous regional and national partnerships and collaborations. We are also a member of the General Employers' Association for Saxony-Anhalt e.V. and the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW). On the federal state level, there is also the recognition as a youth welfare organization. The company is based in Magdeburg, where the head office is located.

The VHS-BILDUNGSWERK is mainly involved in vocational orientation, vocational preparation, vocational education and training, employment and qualification. The activities are aimed at securing skilled professionals and integrating people into the labour market. We focus on the commercial-technical, commercial, green, gastronomic and social care sector.

For more than 25 years, we offer our services in the national and international context as well as for a variety of clients:

• Vocational education and training for the Federal Employment Agency (vocational orientation, vocational preparation, training, retraining, qualification, training support)
• Vocational training, supplementary courses and training for companies and their employees (external and in-house)
• Integrational, vocational preparation, training tasks (ESF / EU, federal, state, municipal, individual)
• Services under the Social Security Code (SGB) II and III (activation, recruitment, employment)
• Specific rehabilitation services under the Social Security Code IX

In addition, the child and youth services under the Social Security Code VIII is another focus of our activities. We promote the strengthening of civil society networks as well as the respect for and observance of human, social and civil rights for the benefit of everyone in society. In this context, integration and mediation services, employment measures, corporate training, EU-, country and national projects supplement the actions of the VHS-BILDUNGSWERK.

We have the fundamental belief that the long-term integration of the people entrusted to us into the labour market and thereby into the community represents the core of active perceived social responsibility. Therefore, we focus our offers on this from the outset.
