This online 2020 Summit is the perfect opportunity to receive up-to-date briefings on the current issues surrounding widening participation and student success and network with colleagues. 

Headline speakers include:

  • John Cope, Director of Strategy, Policy, & Public Affairs, UCAS 
  • Kate Lister, Manager for Accessibility and Inclusive Practice, The Open University
  • Dr Omar Khan, Director, TASO
  • Hillary Gyebi-Ababio, Vice President for Higher Education, NUS

The 13 sessions will be covering topics such as:

  • A reflection on 2020/21 intake
  • Improving the student experience of BAME students
  • Increasing access to lifelong learning
  • Lessons learnt from the COVID-19 lockdown
  • The impact of Covid-19 on care experienced and estranged students
  • Supporting students through blended learning

This conference is essential for staff who have responsibility for or play a part in improving attainment, retention, and student success. Anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to attend. #HEAccess
