Interactive videos empower educators

Participation in the Erasmus+ mobility project “With Interactive Videos Towards Best Achievements” has had a transformative impact on T-Oppi and its approach to adult education. As a result of the completed structured course abroad, a group of educators from T-Oppi acquired a broad set of skills focused on the use of interactive video in teaching and training. The training included both theoretical and hands-on sessions covering the full process—from planning and storyboarding, through video shooting and editing, to embedding interactivity using tools such as H5P, Edpuzzle, and PlayPosit.
The mobility experience empowered the participants not only with new digital competencies but also with the confidence to modernise their own courses and learning environments. One of the most significant outcomes of this learning journey is the establishment of an in-house video production studio. T-Oppi has invested in professional equipment, including a high-quality camera, tripod, green screen, studio lights, and a teleprompter. This strategic step ensures that the organisation can now create its own educational video content independently and maintain a consistent standard of quality.
The newly established studio opens exciting opportunities for T-Oppi to expand its educational offerings. Trainers can now design, record, and edit original video lessons that are specifically tailored to the needs and preferences of their adult learners. This is particularly important given the increasing demand for flexible, digital learning options that can fit around professional and personal commitments. Through interactive videos, learners can engage with course content at their own pace and revisit materials as often as needed, fostering greater autonomy, engagement, and motivation.
In addition, interactivity within the videos—such as embedded quizzes, prompts, and decision-making points—encourages active learning and improves retention of knowledge. Trainers at T-oppi are already incorporating these elements into their courses, turning passive viewing into a dynamic and personalised educational experience. The ability to use analytics from interactive video platforms also allows for real-time monitoring of learner progress and engagement, making it easier to identify learning gaps and provide targeted support.
The Erasmus+ mobility has also contributed to a broader cultural shift within the organisation. There is now a more substantial commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and the continuous improvement of teaching practices. The internal sharing of knowledge gained from the course—through peer trainings and collaborative projects—has helped embed these new methodologies across the organization. Moreover, the visibility of the project and the studio setup have sparked interest among new learners and partners, enhancing the profile of T-Oppi within the field of adult education.
Ultimately, this Erasmus+ experience has positioned T-Oppi to not only improve the quality and accessibility of its educational services but also to reach a wider audience—locally, nationally, and potentially internationally. By producing original video courses and offering them through digital platforms, the organisation can extend its impact beyond the traditional classroom. This aligns with key priorities of Erasmus+, such as promoting digital education, inclusion, and lifelong learning.
The success of the mobility project is a clear example of how strategic participation in Erasmus+ can lead to sustainable, long-term development for adult education providers. For T-Oppi, it has opened the door to a future where interactive, engaging, and learner-centred education is not just a goal but a growing reality.
