On the first weekend of October BEA Bunta Esperanto Asocio met with several associations in Herzberg to work on a project about volunteering. This has been the second meeting, the first one took place in Assisi (Italy) during the conference of FEI, Federation of Italian Esperanto. During the first encounter, the basis are thrown in order to address the plan on the important and sensitive issue of hospitality of volunteers by the same organisations that use them in the activities of associations. In Herzberg, we focused both on the needs of hosting organizations and on those of the volunteers. Clearly, this project values a lot the quality of  the experience made by the volunteers, young people who are offered the possibility of participating to the life of the esperanto association for a whole year, with the added bonus of learning esperanto and the language spoken in the hosting country.

The meetings held in Herzberg from the 1^st to the 3^rd of October 2021 were very fruitful: the presence of volunteers, employed in associative activities but also in the realization of the project, was very important to improve the results obtained through teamwork and to define new project proposals to bring to the attention to the associations, which will then decide if they want to employ volunteers.

The Cultural centre for Esperanto of Toulouse and Herzberg Esperanto Centre have an important role in the Esperanto world due to their active experience with volunteers, as well as TEJO, the Esperanto youth organization, and BES (the Esperanto association of Bialystok), all associations that have been welcoming volunteers for years. In addition to being an active part of the project, Kosmo Strategio is the engine both in weaving relations between associations and creating the conditions for projects to achieve good results.

The days developed immediately with the aim of advancing the project, to reach the end of the compilation of a sort of vademecum of good practices on the topic of volunteering in associations. The days were organized in such a way as to focus attention on the different aspects of the project. One of the recurring themes in fact in all Erasmus+ projects, in addition to the achievement of the objective set by the project, is also related to the resolution and facilitation of the path of an encounter between associations that find themselves working together. Indeed, the very creation of collaborative relationships between the project partners is an important objective. The success of projects often depends on collaboration between partners of associations, but also on good communication between the members of the individual organizations participating in the project. For this reason, the first part of the meetings also focuses on the organizational aspects of the meetings themselves and on future ones. The solution of any problems greatly facilitates collaboration and the achievement of good results.

The other very important aspect was the one dedicated to the story of voluntary experiences carried out by some associations. With us there were indeed some young volunteers, so together with them, we were able to face and learn more about the different aspects of volunteering.
The main objective of the project is to invite other associations to activate experiences of the hospitality of volunteers through the European civil service program.
To do this and so that this can be a positive experience for both associations and volunteers, it is necessary to consider the different aspects of this experience and deepen issues and opportunities.

Much importance has been given to this aspect of the project. An important survey has been presented, it focused on volunteers, who have made in recent years experience of volunteering in the main Esperanto associations, which in turn have experience of hospitality of volunteers at their headquarters. The data that emerged were very interesting, because they gave us the opportunity to understand the importance of the preparation by the associations to hospitality and how this affects the experience itself.
After the vision and analysis of the survey, the different aspects of the experience of volunteering were examined, hypothesizing possible solutions for every aspect emerged.
We started from the needs of associations to continue with those of volunteers, trying to match the different expectations and needs.

The dialogue between the associations and the candidate volunteers is one of the fundamental aspects for the success of the experience itself. The purpose of the comparison must be to clarify both the objectives of the volunteer experience but also all the practical aspects related to the daily life of the volunteer and his hospitality, from the logistics to the activities that he will undertake during his stay.
The discussion was very fruitful because, thanks to the preparation of the meeting, the presentation of the survey and the story of the experiences made by associations and volunteers, it has been possible to deepen and enter into the merits of the individual issues, also assuming the possible solutions. Finally, lists of problems and solutions were drawn up, divided into four main themes:

• Needs of associations

• Needs of volunteers

• Learning Esperanto

• Learning the local language

An important element is the choice of the candidate suitable for the proposed experience. Selection is essential for the success of the experience itself, which must also be based on the expectations of the candidate and the real opportunities put in place by each host association.
The next meeting of the project will see a further definition of these aspects and the creation of practical tools and guidance to be proposed to associations that want to undertake this rich and potentially very fruitful experience of volunteering.

La unuan semajnfinon de Oktobro okazis en Herzberg (Germanio) la renkontiĝo de pluraj asocioj kadre de projekto pri volontulado; inter la asocioj estis ankaŭ nia BEA – Bunta Esperanto Asocio. Tiu ĉi estis la dua kunveno, post tiu okazinta en Italio (en Asizo) dum la kongreso de FEI, la Itala Esperanto-Federacio.

Dum la unua renkontiĝo oni starigis la bazon por direkti la projekton sur la grava kaj delikata temo de la gastigado fare de la organizoj de la volontuloj, kaj de ilia engaĝo en la aktivaĵoj de la asocioj. En Herzberg, ni fokusiĝis sur la bezonoj kaj de la asocioj kiuj gastigas la volontulojn, kaj de la volontuloj. Fakte, estas klare jam de la komenco ke tiu ĉi projekto reliefigas la kvaliton de la sperto farata de la volontuloj, junuloj al kiuj oni ofertas la eblecon partopreni en la vivo de la esperantistaj asocioj dum unu plena jaro, kun la ebleco ne nur lerni Esperanton sed ankaŭ praktiki la lingvon de la loko, kiun ili gastigas.

La renkontiĝoj kiuj sekvis unu la alian dum la tagoj en Herzberg de la 1-a ĝis la 3-a de Oktobro 2021 estis vere utilaj: la ĉeesto de junaj volontuloj engaĝitaj en la asociaj aktivaĵoj kaj en la realigado de la projekto estis tre grava por plibonigi la rezultojn atingitajn per la grupa laboro, kaj por difini novajn proponojn por prezenti al la asocioj, kiuj decidos poste ĉu utiligi volontulojn.

Tre gravan rolon en la esperantista medio por la aktiva sperto pri volontulado ludas la Esperanto Kulturcentro de Tuluzo, la Esperantista Centro de Herzberg, TEJO kaj la Esperantista Societo de Bialystok; ĉiuj menciitaj asocioj gastigas volontuloj jam de pluraj jaroj.

Kosmo Strategio, krom esti aktiva parto de la projekto, estas ĝia motoro kaj en la interteksado de rilatoj inter la asocioj kaj en la kreado de la kondiĉoj por ke la projektoj atingu bonajn rezultojn

Ekde tuj la tagoj celis al la progreso de la projekto, por fine atingi la redaktadon de ia speco de gvidilo pri bonaj praktikoj kadre de la temo de la volontulado en la asocioj.

La tagoj estis organizitaj por fokusigi la atenton sur la diversaj flankoj de la projekto. Unu el la oftaj temoj en ĉiu projekto de Erasmus+, krom la atingo de la celo fiksita de la projekto, estas ankaŭ la solvo kaj faciligo de renkontiĝo inter la asocioj kiuj laboras kune.

Fakte la kreado mem de kunlaboraj rilatoj inter la partneroj de la projekto estas grava celo.

La bona sukceso de la projektoj ofte dependas ne nur de la kunlaborado inter la asociaj partneroj, sed ankaŭ de la bona komunikado inter la anoj de la unuopaj asocioj kiuj partoprenas.

Pro tio, la unua parto de la renkontiĝoj fokusiĝas ankaŭ sur la organizaj aspektoj de la renkontiĝoj mem kaj de tiuj kiuj sekvos.

La solvado de la eventualaj problemoj multe faciligas la kunlaboradon kaj la atingadon de bonaj rezultoj.

La alia tre grava aspekto estas tiu dediĉita al la rakonto de la spertoj de volontulado realigita de kelkaj asocioj.

Kun ni estis ja kelkaj junaj volontuloj, tiel ke kune kun ili ni povis alfronti kaj pli bone koni la diversajn aspektojn de la volontulado.

La ĉefa celo de la projekto estas inviti aliajn asociojn aktivigi spertojn de gastigado de volontuloj pere de la eŭropa programo de civila servo.

Por efektivigi tion kaj por ke tio estu pozitiva sperto kaj por la asocioj kaj por la volontuloj, necesas konsideri la plurajn aspektojn de tiu ĉi sperto kaj pliprofundigi problemojn kaj oportunojn.

Multe da graveco estis donita al tiu flanko de la projekto kaj grava estis la prezentado de la enketo proponita al la volontuloj kiuj faris, dum la pasintaj jaroj, sperton de volontulado en la ĉefaj esperantistaj asocioj, kiuj havas sperton de gastigado de homoj ĉe iliaj sidejoj.

La aperintaj datumoj estis vere interesaj ĉar ili donis al ni la eblecon kompreni la gravecon, flanke de la asocioj, de la prepariĝo al gastigado, kaj oni rimarkis kiom multe tio influas sur la sperto mem.

Post la konsidero kaj la analizo de la enketo oni funde esploris la plurajn aspektojn de la volontulada sperto, pripensante la eblajn solvojn por ĉiu aperinta afero.

Oni startis el la bezonoj de la asocioj, por plupaŝi al tiuj de la volontuloj, klopodante kunmeti la diversajn atendojn kaj necesojn.

La dialogo inter la asocioj kaj kandidatoj al volontulado estas unu el la fundamentaj aspektoj por la pozitiva sukceso de la sperto mem. La komparo devas celi al klarigo ne nur de la celoj de la volontulada sperto sed ankaŭ de la praktikaj aferoj rilataj al la ĉiutaga vivo de la volontulo kaj de ties gastigado, el la organizado de la laboro al la aktivaĵo kiun tiu ekfaros dum la restado.

La diskutado estis tre fruktodona ĉar, dank’ al la preparigo de la renkontiĝo, al la prezentado de la enketo kaj al la rakonto de la faritaj spertoj flanke de la asocioj kaj de la volontuloj, oni povis pliprofundigi la unuopajn temojn, pripensante ankaŭ la eblajn solvojn.

Estis fine listigitaj la problemoj kaj la solvoj, ĉio dividita laŭ kvar ĉefaj temaroj:

• Necesoj de la asocioj

• Necesoj de la volontuloj

• Lernado de Esperanto

• Lernado de la loka lingvo

Grava elemento estas la elekto de la kandidato taŭga por la proponata sperto. La elekto estas fundamenta por la bona sukceso de la sperto mem, kiu devas baziĝi ankaŭ sur la atendoj de la kandidato kaj sur la eblecoj proponataj de la gastigantaj asocioj.
