A Workshop Was Organized for the Project called “The Intervention Methods in Rehabilitation of Adults Convicted of Sexual Immunity Crimes in EU Countries”
In scope of the ERASMUS+ Staff of Adult Education programme, a workshop was organized on 15 October 2019, in Akdeniz Üniversity, Bumin Kağan Conference Hall for the project called “Intervention Methods in Rehabilitation of Adults Convicted of Sexual Immunity Crimes in EU Countries Project” in cooperation with Antalya Probation Office, Antalya, L type, Closed Penitentiary Institution and Antalya E type, Directorate of Open Penitentiary Institution.
Mr. Halil İNAL, Chief Public Prosecutor of Antalya, Mr. Oğuzhan Yaşar, Jurisdiction Justice Commission President, and Mr. Rıza Can, Chief Prosecutor of Regional Courts of Justice, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ERTÜRK, Antalya Üniversity, Dean of Faculty of Letters, Mr.Mehmet KARAKAYA, Deputy Public Prosecutor, Mr. Cengiz GÜLER, Prosecutor of Probation Office and Department of Correction, Mr. Taha YALÇIN, Judge of Execution of Antalya, Mr. Baki KARAÇAY, General Coordinator of EU projects in Governorship of Ankara, Selman ÇETİN, Ministry of European Union, EU Affairs Specialist, Mesut ÖZTÜRK, Director of Probation Office, Faculty Members, in addition, specialist and administrators working at social services, psychology, psychiatry and education departments, trainers and administrators and learners of department of correction and probation office participated in the workshop.
After opening statements of Honorable Speakers, presentations were made: Overview of Sexual Immunity Crimes, “Intervention Methods in Rehabilitation of Adults Convicted of Sexual Immunity Crimes in EU Countries Project”, Current Status in Education and Rehabilitation Practices for Convicted of Sexual Immunity Crimes in Turkey, Education and Rehabilitation Practice Models for Convicted of Sexual Immunity Crimes in England and Germany. After presentations, the rehabilitation models in England and Germany and the implementations regarding this matter in Turkey were discussed.
