Festival of Learning Awards 2020 open for nominations

The Festival of Learning celebrates lifelong learning in England and nominations for the 2020 awards are now being accepted. The Festival of Learning is led by the Learning and Work Institute and supported by the Department for Education and has been running since 1992. The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) also supports the tutor award category.
The awards recognise major achievements of individuals, organisations and employers that go beyond what is expected of them. Learning providers, tutors, teachers, community groups, staff and learners are all eligible.

There are four award categories, including:
- Individual learner
- Employer
- Tutor
- Project
Within these categories, winners can receive awards for:
- Social impact
- English Language Learner
- Learning for work
- Return to learning
Nominations will be accepted till Tuesday 11 February 2020 and guidance and application documents can be downloaded from the Festival of Learning website. It is also possible to view information about 2019’s winners.
