EDUPLUS
EDUPLUS is a non-profit socio-cultural organization based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain that promotes the transformation and improvement of the society through education, culture, ecology and citizen participation. It facilitates the collaboration between education professionals and other professionals in order to develop and promote active teaching methodologies and innovative tools for formal, non-formal and informal education.
EDUPLUS promotes very practical and active teaching methodologies such as: Experiential learning, Collaborative learning, Art-based learning, Inquiry based learning, Garden-based learning and outdoor education. A hands-on approach is used by using practical exercises, experiments, case studies, games and role plays that the educators can adapt to a wide variety of topics. The focus is on enabling the teachers to start using the new skills immediately in their work and increase the motivation and interest of their students.
Members of EDUPLUS have experience with managing KA2 Strategic Partnerships since 2008, including leading complex Intellectual Outputs..
EDUPLUS has good relationships with local organizations such as companies, Cultural Citizen centers, seniors organizations, environmental associations, permaculture gardens, cultural organizations. We have also created a consortium of organizations, Tenerife Courses.
