Wonder Learning for Digital Natives Kick-off meeting in Sarajevo

Kick-Off Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project Wonder Learning for Digital Natives in Sarajevo

On February 3rd and 4th, 2025, Sarajevo hosted the Kick-Off Meeting of the Erasmus+ project Wonder Learning for Digital Natives (2024-1-PT01-KA220-SCH-000254381). 

This meeting marked the official start of the project's implementation, which focuses on innovative learning methods for digital generations. Partners from various European countries gathered to define objectives, methodologies, and key steps for the project's realization.

Key Topics and Activities of the Meeting During the two-day meeting, partners had the opportunity to present their institutions and roles in the project, as well as collaboratively develop strategies and plans for implementation.

1. Partner Presentations and Management Planning Each partner introduced their organization and contribution to the project. Following this, key plans were jointly developed:• Management and Quality – BE do Monte• Dissemination – Edukopro• Evaluation, Monitoring, and Risks – IARBSpecial attention was given to collecting six best practices from each partner, which will later serve as a foundation for developing innovative teaching methods.

2. Methodology and Digital Resources Discussions focused on the methodology for curating a collection of resources, materials, and tools for innovative teaching. This area is led by IARB, with support from other partners.

3. ETwinning Plan and the EcoWonders for Digital Natives InitiativeA significant topic was the ETwinning Plan and future activities within the EcoWonders for Digital Natives initiative. Partners Ryto, BE Monte, ACSSRL, and Dr. Fevzi discussed the next steps for this component of the project.

4. Training on Project Management ToolsEdukopro conducted a training session for partners on project management tools, providing insights into functionalities that will facilitate project coordination and monitoring.

5. Financial Rules and AgreementsFinancial rules and eligible expenses were presented by Primera and Edukopro. Additionally, partners who had not yet signed the partnership agreement did so on-site to formalize their project commitments.

6. Identifying Challenges and Next StepsPartners openly discussed potential obstacles in the project’s implementation to proactively address them. The next steps were defined, particularly within Work Package 2 (WP2), which is led by EduSparkHub.Joint Conclusions and Motivation for Future WorkThe meeting concluded with an evaluation and reflection on the agreements made. The main message was "Together we are stronger!", and all partners expressed satisfaction with the meeting's dynamics and constructive discussions. The project team is now moving forward with great enthusiasm, relying on well-established foundations and clearly defined tasks. An exciting period filled with innovation and knowledge exchange in digital education awaits us!
