CPIA 2 -TORINO

From the second half of the 80s the continuous increase of the number of foreigners present in Turin has highlighted the need to respond to their linguistic needs and socio-cultural integration. Nowadays in CPIA2 school, located in an area of the city with a high rate of immigrants and refugees presence, the asylum seekers are over 50% of the students.
The CPIA2 formative project proposes promotion of social integration through three sets of objectives:
1. Socio-cultural: to provide basic linguistic tools and fundamental features of Italian society and culture in a social space through intercultural exchange.
2. Institutional: to access in job market, professional programs or high schools.
3. Orientation: to guide inside the Italian legislation and in the Italian world of work.
In order to achieve these general objectives, CPIA2 provides an educational path based on four main areas of educational intervention: linguistic, historical-social, mathematical, scientific-technological axis.
The CPIA2 school can release:
- certificate of attendance
- linguistic certificates (level A1, A2, B1)
- middle school diploma
