ABOUT US

We are located in a small but tourist town Rogaška Slatina, which lies near the border with Croatia.

Within the Zavod Uvid we implement social protection programs, namely personal assistance, and at the same time we develop psychosocial support programs. In these two areas, we are establishing systems of preventive support programs and building a strong voluntary network to work with vulnerable groups. We offer quality, tailor-made help for individuals, thereby influencing their self-actualization in terms of strengthening social and personal skills. Our main goal is to establish a space for professional support and assistance to vulnerable groups through professional work; strengthening interpersonal relationships between the vulnerable and others in the environment.

The focus is on a quality communication and social interactions for all.

Our main vision is the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

Social inclusion has many positive effects - strengthening self-confidence, self-esteem, psychological resilience, feelings of love and respect, feelings of belonging, etc. By strengthening these characteristics, we will reduce the consequences of feelings of loneliness and isolation.

It is important to us to educate and involve people in and through sport; we believe in the positive effects of sport, both physical and mental.

We will create change through the involvement of the elderly in sport.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION:

Care for vulnerable groups - providing personal assistance; social inclusion.

Strengthening community mental health - implementing psychosocial support programs.

Education (a set of educational programs) - mindfulness with the aim of strengthening mental health, establishing well-being, finding inner balance; education through sport.

In our work we want to be socially innovative, as we are aware that social change is a constant.

Advocacy.

Emphasis on the social economy - organization of persons and not financial capital - principles of social responsibility and high ethical principles; enabling the development of the potential of individuals.

Additional training - strengthening precarious workers and providing decent earning opportunities; enabling a stable life and social security.
