Founded in 2008, Alma Algarvia is an association committed to a sustainable socio-economic model in the Algarve, prioritising inclusion, diversity and environmental awareness. Focused on environmental education and training, the organisation collaborates with municipalities, companies and educators, promoting awareness and social inclusion. With innovative projects, it seeks practical solutions to environmental challenges, inspiring social change. Committed to citizenship education, Alma Algarvia aims for a future of solidarity and respect for nature. It is dedicated to transforming society and the environment, leaving a lasting legacy of sustainability.

Alma Algarvia's mission is to promote sustainability, education, vocational training and social inclusion throughout the Algarve region. We strive to develop and implement programmes that support continuing education, skills development and the enhancement of traditional professions, while incorporating sustainable practices into all our activities. Our association's approach is in line with the ERASMUS+ objectives, as we promote education. We design our projects based on the common values of solidarity, respect for nature and the fight against climate change. In addition, we consider and promote social inclusion in all projects, supporting people with fewer opportunities and social and economic disadvantages. Alma Algarvia works in rural areas with certain geographical barriers and low population density.
