Havran Public Education Center has been operating as a state institution and school for approximately 30 years.

In our institution, 5 public teachers, more than 20 temporary teachers and approximately 2500 trainees attend courses in various programs every year.

In our institution, there is a ready-made clothing design workshop, a traditional handicrafts and embroidery workshop, a tile and ceramics workshop, a hairdressing and make-up arts workshop, a computer workshop, a cooking workshop, and a traditional woodworking workshop. All activities in our institution are free of charge. No payment or donation is taken for the courses.

Our institution has personnel who provide guidance and psychological counseling services to our trainees, who follow their professional development and evaluate job opportunities in the area.

There is 1 English teacher in our institution. All other administrative staff and teachers can speak English.

Our institution provides services to young and middle-aged female trainees who have never entered a professional life in the past, retired trainees, and all people who want to benefit from the programs we offer to acquire a profession within the legal age limit. It has technical infrastructure for access by disabled individuals.

Our institution has received ERASMUS+ accreditation in 2021 - 2023 and 2025, and our teachers and trainees took part in courses, on-the-job observations and adult trainee movements organized in Spain, Czechia, Greece and Germany. Within the scope of on-the-job training activities, 2 teachers from Spain were hosted in our institution for 1 week.

The courses we offer include Handicrafts, Clothing Design and Preparation, Leather Bag Design, Tile, Ceramics, Woodworking, Cooking, Pastry, English Course Program, Teaching Turkish for Foreigners, Occupational Health and Safety, Workplace Hygiene, Driving Instructor, Coding, Software and Information Technologies, Family Education, and Addiction Fighting Education Programs.

We continue our work in the field of adult education. Recycling and sustainability are among the important principles of our institution. We trust our hardworking and dynamic staff and our past project experiences and would be happy to participate with our teachers and trainees in a project that you will prepare. We can also meet for a partnership in a project that we plan to prepare next year.
