Seminars for introducing “ eTwinning Teacher Training Academy”
In order to introduce “eTwinning Teacher Training Academy” activities conducted by the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies of the Ministry of National Education of The Republic of Turkey, a seminar will be organized. eTwinning provides a platform for teachers, principals and etc. who are working in one of the participating schools in European countries. eTwinning encourages inter-school cooperation in Europe by providing support, tools and services for schools through the use of ICT. In addition, teachers can also access digital content and other opportunities free of charge on the etwinning platform for continuing professional development.Teachers can also participate in eTwinning Groups where eTwinners meet and discuss specific lessons, topics and other interests. One of the 14 eTwinning Groups is “Bringing eSafety into eTwinning projects” which can be handled as a part of digital citizen themes.
