Digitalisation is creating many new opportunities to have conversations with inividuals from other countries, other cultures and belief systems, of all ages and sexes. If this is what EPALE call "Cultural education" I am much interested in such conversations here. I have experienced the MOOC uLab with more than 10000 participants from 150 countries, but also less sophisticated conversations arranged by the World Value Foundation or the Co-Intelligence Institute using the Zoom Technology.

Due to globalization process which is characterized by clashes of cultures, the implementation
of multicultural education becomes particularly important, as it allows representatives of various national,
ethnic and religious groups to interact peacefully and effectively in modern society.
The main directions of multicultural education are multi-ethno-cultural, multi-socio-cultural and multipersonal-cultural
focused on successful communication practices in the educational process and are valuable
to the society and individuals.
The Internet space today is a good platform for communication of different age groups, formed according
to interests, search requests, organization of leisure practices, and it also opens wide opportunities for educational
activities.
A striking example is the Internet technology with their orientation towards the individual and her needs,
dialogue and continuity of the educational process.
There are positive and negative points in the process of open education. Of principle
a condition for obtaining qualitative results in this area is a conscious activity
learner: self-organization, critical perception of information and skill
make an educational strategy choice.
Distance learning is seen as a productive practice in education. And significant in this case are such technologies as case technology, TV technology,
network technology.

Multicultural education

I agree with you that the implementation of multicultural education is a must in today's world. We must focus on common goals and work together for the benefit of society in general.

Farklı kültürleri yaşayan toplumlardan daha doğal bir şey yoktur. Ancak insanlığın birlikte olması ve belirli ortak düşmanlara karşı birlikte savaşması çok iyi bir durumdur. Şimdi bu ortak düşmanın ne olduğunu soracak olursanız, Covit-19 hastalığı ve önleyemediği bulaşıcı hastalıklardır. Onlara karşı mücadelemiz yaygındır. Bu yüzden insanların bilgi paylaşması gerekiyor. İnsanları öldürecek teknolojiler yerine, insanları bu Dünya da mutlu ve barış içinde yaşamalarını amaçlayan araştırma ve çalışmalara odaklanmak gerekiyor. İnsanlar birbirlerini tanıdıkça birbirleriyle kaynaşıyorlar. İnsanlar her zaman bilmediğinden, tanımadığından çekinir ve korkar, farklı kültürleri yaşayan toplumlardan daha doğal bir şey yoktur. Ancak insanlığın birlik olması ve belirli ortak düşmanlara karşı birlikte savaşması, mücadele etmesi çok iyi bir durumdur. İnsanların dünyada mutlu ve barış içinde yaşamalarını amaçlayan araştırma ve çalışmalara odaklanmak gerekiyor.
