UNESSA is representing more than 500 affiliates, active in the support, assistance and care of people in the non-profit sector, in Wallonia and Brussels. We represent eight non-profit sectors: Senior Citizens; Mental Health; People with Disabilities; General Hospital; Childhood and Health; Socio-occupational Integration and Social Economy; Youth Support; Prevention and Frontline Care.
Our mission is to represent and defend the interests of our affiliates and guarantee the best conditions for the development of the reception, support, assistance and care services offered to the people. We support the development of future-oriented and innovative professional practices within our network, as well as the creation of new services and projects. UNESSA is a key interlocutor for both the authorities and the political, economic and social stakeholders. Our team includes 60 staff members, including an Innovation, Projects, Studies Service experienced in project management as coordinator and partner in various fields under Regional and European Programs (Erasmus +, Europe for Citizen, Interreg, King Baudouin Foundation, COCOF (Regional institutions), Federation Wallonie-Brussels, …).
