Perspectives on the Renewed Sustainable Finance Strategy
Ireland for Finance and Sustainable Nation Ireland hosted a 90 minute webinar on Wednesday 10th June 2020 to discuss the EU Commission consultation on a Renewed Sustainable Finance Strategy.
The event was an opportunity to hear different perspectives on the European Green Deal and how different organisations are preparing for the transition to a Sustainable Economy. Minister for Finance & Public Expenditure and Reform, Paschal Donohoe TD led a discussion that featured Pat Cox and Head of Sustainable Finance of DG FISMA, Martin Spolc.
They were joined by a panel of senior decision makers from the financial services industry, who shared what the Commission Strategy means for them and their sector including AIB’s CEO Dr Colin Hunt and MD of Irish Life, Patrick Burke.
