We are seeking to gain experience that would form the adult education strategy in Vilnius Region’s libraries.

Foundation of Active People and Places is an experienced organization, having operated for 12 years. We are based in Cracow, active in the field of local development. One of our basic activities is support of social and public activation of elderly people. We support regional network of municipal senior councils that gather over 25 municipalities from Malopolska. We are looking for a partner to host a group of senior leaders to develop and enhance their competences: - learning new methods of senior activation - better understanding of cultural diversity - development of creativity - inspiration from examples and good practices - effective mechanisms for inclusion, integration and participation. The seniors are local leaders mostly from rural areas and small towns, involved in municipal senior councils but also members of senior organizations, traditional formal and informal groups.
