The European Year of Skills Closing Event - What’s Next?

On 30 April 2023, the European Commission and its Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion will organise the official closing event for the European Year of Skills. This flagship initiative, launched by President von der Leyen in her State of the Union speech in September 2022, contributed to spotlight skills and key competences as an invaluable resource for adult learners and the whole European workforce.
The event will take place in Brussels (The EGG) and online and will feature prominent political and stakeholder panels, inspiring speeches, insightful conversations, and interactive discussion groups on specific topics.
The final event, happening during the upcoming Belgian Presidency of the EU, will be an opportunity to look back at the achievements of the European Year of Skills, as well as to assess its legacy for the future.
Registration for the online event is open! Click here to sign up.
