Cooperation project around transmission and promotion of minoritized languages through online contribution
With this project, we want to gather European stakeholders of language learning and transmission from various backgrounds and perspectives so as to collectively conceive languagelearning and transmission methods based upon online contribution. By doing so, we will build up a digitalcommon dedicated to languages that can be appropriated by a wide range of actors and communities.
The aim of the project is to design ways of contribution that are really inclusive (ergonomy, languages,process…) so that concerned people can easily use the tools and resources create ; a wide range of actorscan continuously improve and enrich the common and, ultimately, we can reply to the needs and stakes oflanguage protection and transmission.
We would like to work on this project with partners situated in different perspectives regarding languages so as to confirm (and adapt) the use of our tool and method for different contexts: regional or minority languagesand in particular languages considered as endangered by the Council of Europe (eg : Romani, Sàmi); heritage languages of people and communities who emigrated in Europe (ex : Amharic, Darija, etc.) – some of which are also endangered; languages of the host countries of people with a migrant background.
