"The Rhythm of Nature" ERASMUS+ Project

Environmental Education in Dance Arts

KA220-VET-000049575

Connecting dance arts & education with sustainable development, in particular with environmental education and ecology, through a creative ecology approach that puts diversity and collaboration at the center of all activities; dance arts-based environmental education: developing transversal skills through arts-based methods; introducing theories, concepts, and methods for teaching and practicing, as guidance for enabling more responsible acting toward and within the social & natural environment; exploring the rhythms of nature as a source and as inspiration in arts for creation of the innovative methods for inquiry-based learning, choreographing, engaging in the sustainable development process

Furthermore, the project connects dance arts education with environmental and cognitive humanities, cultural diplomacy, and sustainable development politcy which makes a unique move toward more comprehensive studies and widens perspectives for further collaborations among dance arts students and teachers with scientists for the engagement toward the realization of the sustainable development goals as our common value compass and a main source for cultural diplomacy activities through dance arts practices and education
