Instituto Inter started teaching professionals in 1977 in different areas: vocational training, training for employment, teaching for Professional Certificates from the Industry Department, private courses just to learn the profession. These are some of its characteristics:

1.  Authorised by Conselleria de Cultura, Educación y Ciencia de la Generalitat Valencia,D.O.G.V.de 8/9/99 (Centre number: 46023055) to teach VOCATIONAL TRAINING (médium and high VET cycles): Car Mechanics, Auxiliary Nursing Care, Electrics and Automatics, Childhood Education, Dietetics, Electrotechnical Installations,..being most of them not only in class but online.

2. Validated by the SERVEF (Registration number: 4600001290, 460000610, 4600001799) for oficial courses for unemployed people and also for working people.

3. Authorised by the Servicio Territorial de Dirección General de Industria y Energía de la Generalitat Valenciana to teach courses which enable to get the oficcial license of fitter/maintainer of plumbing, gas, boilers, low voltage,..

4. Besides that, it is a centre which cooperates with Confederación Empresarial Valenciana since 2004, teaching courses for working people granted by the own Valencian companies.

It is placed not only in Valencia but in Castelló de la Plana (and recently opened in Barcelona).

The centre has a 3 year experience with European projects, and some of tema are as follows:

• Leonardo da Vinci IVT (FORMANDO PROFESIONALES EN EUROPA & FORMANDO PROFESIONALES EN EUROPA II,2012-1-ES1-LEO01-49482 / 2013-1-ES1-LEO01-69231) which included the practices module development(work placement) of around 15 students of Auxiliary Nursing Care in UK and also 3 students from Car Mechanics to develop the construction of an electric car project with other Euopean students in Germany.  

• Around 20 students mobilities from Electricity, Car Mechanics and Auxiliary Nursery Care in a Comenius project association with a Polish high school in 2011-12 (Make My Town Green- 2011-1-PL1-LEO04-02942).

• An Associations Leonardo da Vinci project (2012-1-IT1- LEO04-02942) for the exchange of Best Practices in Childcare amongst Spain, Bulgary, United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden.and also nearly finished the practices module development (work placement) of 6 students of Auxiliary Nursing Care in Portmouth-UK.

• In the last 3 years, the centre has received and managed several professional visits and seminars with groups from Turkey, Poland, Germany, UK, Bulgary,..and some students for doing their internships with us at the Administration department. And we also participated in a consortium for the promotion of employability of young people in our city.

• An Erasmus+ KA102 project (currently under development):  2014-1-ES01-KA102-002516 EUROPA FORMA PROFESIONALES, which includes the practices module development(work placement) of 12 students of Auxiliary Nursing Care and Car Mechanics in UK and also the training of 6 students from Car Mechanics & Electrics/Automatisms in Italy altogether with the staff mobility (3 teachers) for job shadowing.

• We are provided  with the ECHE and were awarded by the National Agency with a distinction on Best Practices for the Best Individual Mobility 2012.
