Using academic databases can be seen as an important part of  scholarly workflow. For that reason, a training seminar will be held by the Library and Documentation Department in order to ensure for more effective and efficient use of the databases subscribed by Gazi University Central Library.  The seminar will focus on the use of two databases;  Incites and Web of Science.

Incites database,

• provides services to support the processes of establishing, evaluating and managing scientific research strategies of academic and government institutions,
• making the best use of available resources,
• supports the orientation of investments to help maximise near-and long-term productivity
• and provides the opportunity for scientific performance analysis.

Web of Science database includes multiple databases that provide comprehensive publisher-independent citation data for many different academic disciplines.
