Skills development for employees in digital skills, green education, innovative methods, holistic working methods and transformative leadership.

Our staff want to learn how other European cities work on digital skills, green transition, green education and jobs, matching with market needs, holistic approaches and transformative leadership. With the aim of being more relevant to our Stockholmers and better supporting Stockholmers to work and study.
In the project, our employees can choose activities based on the following five prioritized target areas:
- Increased digital skills to become more relevant and prepared for future professions and skill requirements. One of the EU's most important goals for 2030 and one of the EU's 8 key competences is digital skills. Our goal is for employees to gain increased knowledge in digital tools.
- Increased skills in green transition, green education and jobs, to become more relevant and prepared for future skill requirements.
- Employees need innovative methods to meet employers' needs and skill requirements and to match job seekers with the market needs. They need to exchange experience in how other countries work with, for example, job differentiation
- Employees have developed a holistic working method and learned from other countries' structures on how to increase cooperation with external actors to improve the inclusion of people who are far from the labour market
- Managers and leaders are transformative in leading employees in change.
We, the Labour Market Department has the overall responsibility in the City of Stockholm for labour market issues, adult education and refugee-related issues.
We would be happy to welcome your employees in return. We can offer job-shadowing and hosting teachers.
