EN | Centro Studi d’Europa operates mainly through research, in-depth studies, publications and focus in collaboration with experts, scholars, institutional partners and realities of the public-private sector, signing memoranda of understanding aimed at the realization of activities with common goals. It also pursues, nonprofit, civic, solidarity and social utility purposes through the exercise of activities of general interest pursuant to art. 5 of Legislative Decree no. 117/2017. The mission of the nonprofit includes the activity of documenting in a modern and innovative way, strengthening networks and new projects, in order to seize the useful cues offered by the stakeholders in terms of experiences, skills and new development models.

The organisation is non-profit making and pursues civic, solidarity and socially useful purposes by carrying out one or more of the following activities of general interest, as set out in Art. 5 of the CTS:

• organisation and management of cultural, artistic or recreational activities of social interest, including activities, including publishing, for the promotion and dissemination of the culture and practice of volunteering and of the activities of general interest referred to in this article;
• redevelopment of unused public property or property confiscated from organised crime;
• university and post-university training;
• scientific research of particular social interest;
• promotion of the culture of legality, peace among peoples, non-violence and non-armed defence;
• promotion and protection of human, civil, social and political rights, as well as consumer rights;
• education, education and vocational training, as well as cultural activities of social interest with educational purposes;
• interventions and services aimed at safeguarding and improving the conditions of the environment and the prudent and rational use of natural resources;
• interventions for the protection and enhancement of the cultural heritage and the landscape;
• community radio broadcasting;
• development cooperation;
• charity in support of disadvantaged persons or activities of general interest.

By way of example but not limited to, the actions will be implemented through the following activities promotion and organisation of dissemination, comparison and cultural initiatives, such as conventions, debates, seminars, conferences, workshops, reviews, competitions, events and meetings in synchronous and asynchronous mode, also through the use of digital platforms, remote connection tools, as well as telematic and paper-based newspapers and magazines; elaborating and disseminating cultural and in-depth study material (online and offline); encouraging the cultural growth of members and, in general, of the public, also through specific initiatives carried out in collaboration with local, regional, national and international bodies, associations, schools, etc.; encouraging the participation of members in cultural initiatives and in the development of the Association's activities; encouraging the participation of the Association's members in the development of the Association's activities; encouraging the participation of the Association's members in the development of the Association's activities: to promote the cultural growth of members and, in general, of the public, also through specific initiatives carried out in collaboration with local, regional, national and international bodies, associations, schools, etc.; to encourage the participation of members in research, experimentation and training initiatives; to promote, organise and carry out any other initiative directly or indirectly responding to the aims of the Organisation; to promote and carry out activities for the dissemination of culture and information through its own instruments, the press, newspapers, magazines (scientific and sectoral) and any other mass-media, as well as through the support and participation of expert professional figures belonging to the social, institutional and professional panorama; to devise information campaigns and activities for social promotion carried out in an original form, also through the involvement of experts and technicians; to redevelop and manage public property owned by the Public Administration as well as property confiscated from organised crime to be used for the pursuit of the association's aims and/or to be returned to the use of the local community.

The Organisation may carry out, in accordance with art. 6 of the CTS, activities other than those of general interest, secondary and instrumental to the latter, according to criteria and limits defined by a specific Ministerial Decree.

Pursuant to art. 7 of the CTS, the Organisation may also carry out fundraising activities - by asking third parties for donations, bequests and non-monetary contributions - in order to finance its activities of general interest and in compliance with the principles of truth, transparency and fairness in its relations with supporters and the public.

IT | Il Centro Studi d’Europa opera principalmente attraverso ricerche, approfondimenti, pubblicazioni e focus in collaborazione con esperti, studiosi, partner istituzionali e realtà della filiera pubblico-privata, stipulando protocolli d’intesa finalizzati alla realizzazione di attività con obiettivi comuni. Persegue altresì, senza scopo di lucro, finalità civiche, solidaristiche e di utilità sociale mediante l’esercizio di attività di interesse generale ex art. 5 del D. Lgs n. 117/2017. Tra le mission dell’Ente no-profit rientra l’attività di documentazione in una chiave moderna e innovativa, rafforzando reti e nuove progettualità, al fine di cogliere gli spunti utili offerti degli interlocutori in termini di esperienze, competenze e modelli di sviluppo inediti.

L'Organizzazione non ha scopo di lucro e persegue finalità civiche, solidaristiche e di utilità sociale mediante lo svolgimento di una o più delle seguenti attività di interesse generale, di cui all’art. 5 del CTS:

• organizzazione e gestione di attività culturali, artistiche o ricreative di interesse sociale, incluse attività, anche editoriali, di promozione e diffusione della cultura e della pratica del volontariato e delle attività di interesse generale di cui al presente articolo;
• riqualificazione di beni pubblici inutilizzati o di beni confiscati alla criminalità organizzata;
• formazione universitaria e post-universitaria;
• ricerca scientifica di particolare interesse sociale;
• promozione della cultura della legalità, della pace tra i popoli, della nonviolenza e della difesa non armata;
• promozione e tutela dei diritti umani, civili, sociali e politici, nonché dei diritti dei consumatori;
• educazione, istruzione e formazione professionale, nonché le attività culturali di interesse sociale con finalità educativa;
• interventi e servizi finalizzati alla salvaguardia e al miglioramento delle condizioni dell’ambiente e all’utilizzazione accorta e razionale delle risorse naturali;
• interventi di tutela e valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale e del paesaggio;
• radiodiffusione sonora a carattere comunitario;
• cooperazione allo sviluppo;
• beneficenza a sostegno di persone svantaggiate o di attività d’interesse generale.

A titolo esemplificativo ma non esaustivo, le azioni si concretizzeranno mediante la realizzazione delle seguenti attività:

• promozione e organizzazione di iniziative divulgative, di confronto ed a carattere culturale, come convegni, dibattiti, seminari, conferenze, workshop, rassegne, concorsi, eventi e incontri in modalità sincrona e asincrona, anche attraverso l’utilizzo di piattaforme digitali, strumenti di collegamento a distanza, nonché di testate giornalistiche e riviste telematiche e cartacee;
• elaborazione e diffusione materiale culturale e di approfondimento (online e offline);
• favorire la crescita culturale dei soci e, in generale, del pubblico, anche attraverso iniziative specifiche realizzate eventualmente in collaborazione con enti locali, regionali, nazionali ed internazionali, associazioni, istituti scolastici, ecc.;
• favorire la partecipazione dei soci ad iniziative di ricerca, di sperimentazione e di formazione;
• promuovere, organizzare e realizzare ogni altra iniziativa direttamente o indirettamente rispondente alle finalità dell’Organizzazione;
• promuovere e realizzare attività di diffusione della cultura e dell’informazione attraverso i propri strumenti, gli organi di stampa, le testate giornalistiche, le riviste (scientifiche e di settore) e di ogni altro mass-media, nonché tramite il supporto e la partecipazione di figure professionali esperte appartenenti al panorama sociale, istituzionale e professionale;
• ideare campagne e attività informative di promozione sociale realizzate in forma originale, anche attraverso il coinvolgimento di esperti e tecnici;
• riqualificare e gestire beni pubblici di proprietà della Pubblica Amministrazione nonché di beni confiscati alla criminalità organizzata da utilizzare per il perseguimento delle finalità associative e/o da restituire alla fruibilità della Comunità locale.

L’Organizzazione può esercitare, a norma dell’art. 6 del CTS, attività diverse da quelle di interesse generale, secondarie e strumentali rispetto a queste ultime, secondo criteri e limiti definiti con apposito Decreto Ministeriale.

L’Ente può esercitare, a norma dell’art. 7 del CTS, anche attività di raccolta fondi - attraverso la richiesta a terzi di donazioni, lasciti e contributi di natura non corrispettiva - al fine di finanziare le proprie attività di interesse generale e nel rispetto dei principi di verità, trasparenza e correttezza nei rapporti con i sostenitori e con il pubblico.
