Romania (OAMGMAMR) is one of the 41 branches that make up theorganization, based in the city of Iasi and is the second branch in Romania,according to the number of registered members in the organization. The organization has more than 16.000 members - nurses, midwives, and medical assistants, among which more than 10.000 active members who practice in Iasi County, by employment contract, volunteering, or provision of services. 

The activity of the organization consists of the control and supervision of the nurse and midwife professional practice (registration of members, practice validation, professional authorization; continuing education provider for general care nurses, midwives, and specialized nurses, an activity carried out under theNational Program of Continuing medical education, developed by our organization. The continuing education programs are approved by ourorganization, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Consequently, OAMGMAMR Iasi Branch organizes continuous online and face-to-face training courses, seminars, workshops, conferences, summer schools, workshops, and exhibitions of posters.

The management of the branch is ensured through the executive team office which is elected every 4 years by vote of the members and consists of 1president, 2 vice-presidents, and 1 secretary, nurses elected from the members of the branch. The connection between the County Council Bureau and the members is strengthened through the Branch County Council Iasi, in which thereare 17 representatives elected from the main medical facilities in the county.T he organization s staff consists of 16 permanent employees organized in the following departments: Professional scientific control and professional supervision Department, Nurses Registration Department, Continuous NursingEducation County Department, Commission of professional ethics andDeontology, Communication, public relations, and international relations department, European projects, research and organizational development department, Local center of legal information, Financial and accounting department.

Since December 2015, OAMGMAMR Iasi Branch has been certified by TUVAustria Cert for compliance with quality management procedures following international quality standard SR EN ISO9001: 2015.
