Daniel Baril, Chairman of the Board of the Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) is beginning preparations for the seventh International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII) in 2022. In the UIL blog, he has written a post entitled Education 2.0, in which he states that we need a new generation of adult education learning policies as we are living in paradoxical times.

The Adult Education Institution Dante would like to develop a project aimed at increasing accessibility to new communication technologies for older adults and develop the reading culture among citizens aged 60+.

W Wojewódzkiej Bibliotece Publicznej im. Hieronima Łopacińskiego w Lublinie powstał Projekt „Mobilny Bibliotekarz”, w ramach którego 10 osób wyjechało do Brna. Założenie było takie, że dzięki projektowi Biblioteka podniesie jakość swoich usług edukacyjnych, adresowanych zarówno do dorosłych użytkowników instytucji, jak i bibliotekarzy bibliotek samorządowych województwa lubelskiego. W ramach projektu zaplanowano m.in. zagraniczne wyjazdy edukacyjne pracowników WBP na Job Shadowing do Biblioteki im. Jiriho Mahena w Brnie. Wyjazdy odbyły się w terminach: 26-30 sierpnia 2019 r. oraz 30 września – 4 października 2019 r.

We are looking for project partners - KA2

We are a Folk High School located in the nort-western part of Poland. We have been operating in the Adult Education sector since 1946 and have used Grundtvigian methodology as a princinple since then which is based on a holistic approach and values lifelong learning. Our institution offers variety of courses and workshops for adults who want to learn some practical skills incl. handicraft, ecology and social skills. Currently, we are looking for partners who would like to participate in the project we wish to apply for this year.

Daniel Baril, Presidente del Consejo del Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) está comenzando con los preparativos de la séptima Conferencia Internacional sobre Educación de Adultos (CONFINTEA VII) que será en 2022. En el blog de la UIL, ha escrito un post titulado Education 2.0, en el que afirma que necesitamos una nueva generación de políticas de aprendizaje de educación de adultos ya que en esta materia estamos viviendo tiempos paradójicos.

Publicada la Resolución de 4 de febrero de 2020, de la Dirección General de Ordenación y Evaluación Educativa, por la que se convocan para el año 2020 las pruebas para la obtención del título de Bachiller para personas mayores de veinte años y se establecen determinados aspectos de su organización, en virtud de lo establecido en la Orden de 16 de septiembre de 2019 que las regula.

Calculadoras: a pesar de su bajo coste, su fácil transporte y su ahorro de trabajo, las calculadoras en las aulas siguen siendo objetos non gratos. Los motivos más escuchados son que impiden el cálculo mental, que no favorecen la comprensión de las operaciones y que es fácil equivocarse al teclear. Sin embargo, la calculadora científica es una herramienta esencial que facilita el cálculo y dinamiza el aula.

Tras la publicación de la resolución pertinente, se abre hoy el plazo para la inscripción telemática en las pruebas libras para la obtención del título de graduado en Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, destinada a personas mayores de 18 años, para el año 2020, en la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia.

Der Erwachsenenbildungsbereich in Ostbelgien arbeitet aktiv an seiner Qualitätsentwicklung. Am 4. Februar trafen die Akteure sich zur Start up Fachtagung und ließen den Prozess gemeinsam anlaufen, der sich nun über einen Zeitraum vom 14 Monaten erstreckt. Jasmin Heeren vom Rat der Erwachsenenbildung (RfE) erläutert die Ziele und die Vorgehensweise der Maßnahme.

Spaniards know how to use the many years of professional experience (but not only) of their seniors so that they can feel needed when they retire. They taught educators from Elbląg and the region how to do it. It was an international training, which took place from 23rd to 26th September 2019 at CSE (Center for European Meetings) "Światowid" in Elbląg as a part of the Erasmus+ project called "Elbląg educators for seniors".

EDUCULT bietet am 28./29. Februar 2020 einen zweitägigen kostenlosen Weiterbildungskurs für Projektmanager*innen /-mitarbeiter*innen und Leitungspersonen von zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen an, die im Bereich des Lebenslangen Lernens tätig sind und an internationalen Kooperationen interessiert sind. Mit diesem Kurs möchte EDUCULT den Teilnehmer*innen vermitteln, wie internationale Kooperationen erfolgreich umgesetzt werden können.

A Knowledge Alliance of Agri Businesses, Academia and Business Angels for Disruptive Farm-to-Work Agri-Tech Training (AgTech7) European projects have been accepted for co-financing by the ERASMUS+ KA2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Knowledge Alliances.

Erasmus+ - ROMAE – Role Models in Adult Education General Aim The project aims at building a network of positive reference figures for adult education. Such figures will contribute to adult education activities aiming at social inclusion and active citizenship according to the fundamental values of the European Union. They will act as narrators of their own stories of social redemptions and bearers of common values in all institutions where adult education takes place, such as schools, associations, etc. Implementation The projects aims at supporting improving and enriching skills and knowledge of educators working with disadvantaged, socially excluded, marginalized and/or deprived adults. Staff of partner institutions will meet in workshops aiming at research and study of figures that can be elected as symbols of resilience. Through exchange and discussion participants will outline criteria, themes and features of the rference figures. They will single out persons and educational methodologies to make them closer to adults learners. It is not exclude, if possbile, the participation of the reference figures themselves to take part in mobilities or educational activities carried out in partner organisations. Workshops will make use of active methodologies: cooperative learning, debates, flipped classroom.
