Ljudska univerza Kranj sodeluje v projektu Izobraževanje v okviru marginalnosti (EM2), ki bo z uporabo pristopa soodgovornosti lokalnih skupnosti, podjetij in izobraževalnih organizacij prispeval k povečanju motivacije in izboljšanju zaposlitvenih možnosti s krepitvijo kompetenc in samopodobe nižje izobraženih ali nižje usposobljenih odraslih in odraslih, ki niso niti zaposleni niti vključeni v izobraževanje ali usposabljanje.

Educators in adult education are very often overwhelmed with the specific issues they have to deal in adults’ classes (low level of motivation among students, mixed ability classes, students with specific learning needs). Apart from that, sometimes they are not skilled enough for preparing, organizing and evaluating courses, both for formal and non-formal programs. The work with adults requires specific skills, methods and knowledge. This course allows participants to get to know, experiment and practice the most relevant innovative teaching methods for work with adults.

There is no doubt that the digital world has modified the way that people are learning and retrieving information; therefore any use of ICT for educational purposes must also consider itself a response to those corresponding shifts. For this reason, we are considering a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform as well as a mobile application development as the appropriate ICT tools for reaching many people.
