I attended “Younger Staff Training” organized by EAEA association (European Association for the Education of Adults) in Brussels between the 19th and the 22nd of September 2017. EAEA is a European NGO whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations directly involved in adult learning. EAEA promotes adult learning and access to and participation in non-formal adult education for all, particularly for groups currently under-represented.
Participants of the training were from several organizations from different European countries (Italy, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Belgium, Netherland, Georgia, Finland, Poland). We discussed about the main policies carried out in field of adult education and about the best practices. The best part of the training was networking and getting new friends across the Europe.
I recommend this training for all who work in the adult education field and who are interested about it on a European level. Despite the name of the training, everyone is welcome to participate. Next application period for the training will be in spring 2018.
