Association of abstainers for help with re-socialization Porat is a non-profit organization established in 2003. by a former addicts in drug free abstinence with help of professional staff.
Association Porat works in field of human rights, social inclusion and health care, mostly with people who have or had problems with addiction.
Our activities are aimed at prevention of drug, alcohol and gambling addictions, harm reduction and attracting people into treatment, in some of the therapeutic community.
We are aimed to help them re-socialize by organizing activities such as counselling, socio therapeutic groups, self-help groups, individual psychological support and psychotherapy, vocational training and retraining courses, public forums on the subject of resocialization problems, employment and other social rights.
Target groups are drug addicts, drug abstainers, their families and young people with a risky behaviour who are at risk of becoming addicted, volunteers.
In our twenty years of experience we have implemented about 70 local projects with a lot of success.
