Climbing Frame has been designed for Union Learning Reps (ULRs) to assist them in their roles of supporting workplace learners and bringing learning into work. It can be used to:
- Provide current information to URLs and learners
- Develop learner action plans
- Support the transfer and sharing of learner skills and experience
- Record progress in learner sessions
- Gather information on learner profiles and use these to support negotiations with employers
- Store contacts and other information
Climbing Frame can be accessed on a website or through an app. It also provides learning through a series of topics and themes, which include:
- Supporting learners
- Higher learning
- Equality, diversity and learning
- Personal development and career planning
ULRs are also able to access news, case studies and explore a wide range of links to other useful further reading.
