Kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project GamifiedEd

GamifiedEd kick-off meeting marked the start of an international collaboration focused on transforming adult education with innovative and accessible materials.

Kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project GamifiedEd: Gamification in Adult Education

The project GamifiedEd aims to modernize adult education through the use of gamification - integrating game elements into the learning process. The goal is to strengthen educators’ competencies and provide them with practical tools to make learning more engaging, interactive, and accessible for all participants.

The first transnational partner meeting within the project GamifiedEd was held at the project coordinator - Public Open University Čakovec. All project partners participated: Žilinská univerzita v Žiline (Slovakia), Kayros Digital Innovation (Spain), and Ljudska univerza Lendava (Slovenia).
During the meeting, partners got to know each other, presented their roles and experiences, and agreed on the first steps in project implementation. Discussions focused on the activity plan, task distribution, and the timeline for developing project materials.
Throughout the project, partners will develop a Toolkit containing gamification methods with written and video tutorials for using digital tools, a digital platform for creating gamified learning content, and a digital handbook for the simple application of gamification in teaching. All resources will be free and easily accessible, removing financial barriers for educational institutions and educators.
This kick-off meeting marked the beginning of an exciting two-year journey towards creating more modern, inclusive, and creative ways of learning for adults.
