The 2022 Community Stories initiative
Stories are all around us. They are there, waiting to be found, told, and shared. History is made of stories. And stories guide our future.
Stories make us think about things in ways we have never thought of before. They have the power to make us laugh and to make us cry.
Telling stories helps people connect. And they make us more relatable to others. Ultimately the magic of stories lies in how they unite people who may otherwise have little or nothing in common.
Our life story - the ups, downs, and everything between - shapes us. As we grow and experience new things, we change. As we tell our stories we learn about ourselves, and the world around us. We understand, we grow, and we communicate.
This is the inspiration behind the 2022 Community Stories initiative!
EPALE would like to hear your voice, and your story, and invite you to be part of an archive of lived experiences, collected from educators from all over Europe.
What is your earliest memory of learning? Who was there with you to make that moment enjoyable? Why did you choose to keep developing your knowledge and skills? And when did you choose to support adults in their personal and professional growth?
Help us explore the adult learning community.
What motivates you? What makes you feel accomplished at the end of the day? What makes you feel good about yourself as an adult learning professional? And how has education changed your life?
So, what’s your story?
