The purpose of the document is to identify the current situation and gaps between migrants’ level of skills regarding their language, digital and entrepreneurial competences and the actual needs existing in the creative industries sector.
n terms of adult educators, the problems related to learning in the workplace fall into two main categories. 1.    The first is to understand and reveal how individuals solve workplace problems through learning, which are becoming increasingly complex and even difficult to notice. Some of these problems are: a.    to bring interdisciplinary teams and work together in integrating new technologies and improving the flow of business processes, b.    to end inequalities and prejudices in the workplace, and c.    to allow individuals to become aware of their own power to change the conditions of their work.

"Vulnerable groups" is a syntagma that implies different groups of citizens, and certainly includes members of minority ethnic groups, regardless of the basis of that status. There is legislation that protects the rights of vulnerable groups, but promoting equal opportunities for all is the responsibility of society as a whole.

Primary school “Vera Radosavljevic” has been in the process of adult education since 2011, firstly through the project “Druga sansa” (The “Second Chance“ – Systemic Development of Elementary Practice Based Adult Education in Serbia) and later as a part of the “FOOO” process (Functional Elementary Education of Adults). Our experience in this field is rich and versatile. We are aware of the problems and difficulties that arise though everyday work.

In the settlements where this marginalized population is predominantly located, the school staff regularly visits Roma households and animates potential students. Those who are not directly accessible - through the "capillary" communication network in the settlement, are informed of the benefits of continuing their education and they, on their own, enroll in a functional elementary adult education program.

In maart 2019 trokken 5 collega’s van het centrum voor volwassenenonderwijs Kisp voor enkele dagen naar Italië. Ze volgden er een vorming op maat over omgaan met de diversiteit in klasgroepen: ‘Diverse groups, diverse approaches’.

Adult education and lifelong learning are one of the main drivers of national development. Adult education encompasses the entirety of the adult learning process designed to pursue the right to free personal development, employability training (acquisition of first occupation qualifications, retraining, acquisition and deepening of professional knowledge, skills and competences) and active citizenship training. Adult education takes place as formal, non-formal, informal and / or independent learning. Adult education provides a means of improving skills or learning new skills for those affected by unemployment, reorganization and change of occupation and also makes an important contribution to social inclusion, active citizenship and personal development. Here are some suggestions how to improve adult learning.
