Applicant organisation needed for Erasmus + KA2 project on Family Learning

CPIP Romania - Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning is preparing a project application on family learning and needs a promoter for the project who is willing to submit the application at their National Agency. All the administrative and development work will be done by CPIP. The project applicant should have previous experience in coordinating EU funded projects and solid expertise in the field of adult education/basic skills for adults.

Southern Regional College received funding from the EU to deliver a range of projects focused on ‘Innovation and Exchange of Good Practice for Adult Learning’ and also to support integration and promote diversity. Materials developed from these projects were digitised and made available online. One of the projects “Learning for Living Together Project” promoted social inclusion while combating prejudice and discrimination. With innovative teaching resources based on diversity and equality developed and translated into a range of European languages. These materials have enabled new migrants, refugees and asylum seekers to be supported and has aided integration.

Nästan alla som har bott i Sverige har gått i skolan, fått betyg från grundskolan och fortsatt till gymnasiet och tagit studenten. Kommunal vuxenutbildning för särskolans elever " Särskild utbildning för vuxna" har oftast ett annat syfte än komplettera bristfälliga slutbetyg från grundsärskolan. Har de personer som söker yrkesutbildning har ett tydligare mål än andra sökande ?

Täiskasvanud inimesed leiavad üha enam tee õppima kutsekoolidesse mõnda eriala. Seda tingib soov täiendada end olemasoleval erialal, vajadus õppida uus amet või tahetakse õppida midagi uut. Mittetratsioonilised õppijad on täiskasvanud, kes asuvad õppima peale mõningast pausi eelmise kooli järel, kasvatavad õpingute kõrvalt lapsi ja käivad tööl. Eestis on varasemalt uuritud mittetraditsioonilisi õppijaid kõrgkoolis ning nende õppima asumise motiive, samuti õpingute katkestamise põhjuseid. On ka uuritud õppimist mõjutavaid tegureid.

According to the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees (UNHCR), over 1 million asylum-seekers and migrants reached the European Union via the Mediterranean in 2015 alone; that is, nearly five times as many as in 2014. The UN’s refugee agency estimates that 84 percent are from countries that, because of war or other circumstances, qualify them as refugees. This overwhelming refugee crisis poses many immediate challenges that should be addressed at different levels within the European Union.

Innovativeness came as a next level of creativity used through the development of activities adjusted to our students, many of whom live trapped in a vicious circle of illiteracy, poverty, unemployment and a lack of a permanent place of residence, often accompanied by cultural and traditional limitations or some unfortunate circumstances (socially disadvantaged families, domestic violence, crime). In the new circumstances, she did not have much time to prepare and analyse different approaches – she had to act right away.
