Da die Erwachsenenbildung jedoch ein kaum regulierter Bildungsbereich ist und Programme von Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildungseinrichtungen nachfrageorientiert konzipiert werden, stellt sich die Frage, wie die Volkshochschulen den Diskurs zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit rezipieren und diesen in Form von Programmen und Angeboten auslegen.

The former space for the Ílhavo Youth Forum, next to the Municipal Library, gains a new life and dynamism since January 13th. With its renovated interior spaces, it opens the door to science and technology, not forgetting the contact with the local culture of the Municipality, in particular with the long maritime tradition of cod fishing, the manufacture of the tradional brad of Vale de Ílhavo and, also, the production of porcelain from Vista Alegre.

It’s officially available the free online Moodle learning platform of "Youth Workers and Rural Heritage Promotion" Erasmus+ KA2 Project. It offers Open Educational Resources to develop the main skills for a new job category.
