Digital Inclusion: Stronger Communities
The Wales Co-operative Centre stands for strengthening communities, tackling poverty and promoting inclusion. They do this by implementing co-operative solutions to problems of exclusion.
They believe that digital exclusion continues to have a profound negative impact on Wales, affecting particularly people in our poorest communities. With planned welfare reforms, the impact of digital exclusion on individuals will become greater. They therefore suggest that there is a continuing need for a dedicated digital inclusion programme in Wales.
The Wales Co-operative Centre has drafted a policy paper “Digital Inclusion: Stronger Communities” which makes the case for continued support.
