Classrooms Outside the Classroom. Madrid-Este Consortium for the Educational Value of European Heritage
We are a consortium formed by four adult education schools (CEPA) very closely spotted one from each other in the east of Madrid, Spain. We cover all sectors of adult education (local, regional and penitentiary):
CEPA Clara CampoamorCEPA Don Juan ICEPA Buen GobernadorCEPA San Fernando de Henares
Our school, CEPA Buen Gobernador, is located in the historic town of Torrejón de Ardoz in eastern Madrid, Spain. We are very close to the UNESCO World Heritage University and Historic Precinct of Alcalá de Henares, birthplace of famous world known writer Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Quijote de la Mancha.
Our topics of interest are those related to the European historical heritage and the values associated with it, such as respect for cultural assets and the conservation of the urban or natural environment in which they are located.
We are looking for Erasmus+ partners such as adult educational schools, didactic departments of museums, libraries and the like, to carry out professional observations (job shadowing) or teaching. We offer ourselves as hosts to receive visits to the best of our ability and under the conditions established by the competent authorities.
We intend to internationalize the educational action of our schools, increase the teaching skills of the teaching staff, learn in situ innovative methodologies and good practices with which to improve the teaching and learning processes.
