Training kit : Let's talk about mental health
The MIND training kit is design to help vocational education and training learners integrating emotional well-being into their training and mobility experiences. The total duration of the structured training activities is 14 hours. However, the total duration of the training may vary depending on how trainers choose to present the theoretical content and discussions.
Learning objectives of the training
- Understand mental health, recognising key concepts related to it, including well-being, psychological distress and mental disorders.
- Investigate and challenge myths, stereotypes and stigmas related to mental health.
- Apply effective coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional difficulties in real-life situations.
- Develop and integrate self-care routines and resilience-building strategies into daily life.
Training process
- The training manual is designed to provide trainers with the information and knowledge necessary to prepare for the training.
- The training plan provides trainers with detailed, step-by-step instructions for implementing the training.
- The materials that accompany the training manual (PowerPoint and appendices) are provided to professionals to implement the training.
