On March 17, 2022, the NSS EPALE Slovakia organized an international EPALE Conference on the topic "How to motivate adults to learn for life?" at the Falkensteiner Hotel in Bratislava. The conference was the final event of the second part of the implementation of the European initiative EPALE in Slovakia.

The conference aimed to look at the topic of motivation from different aspects and in different areas of adult education. The conference was intended for professionals in the field of adult education, registered users of the EPALE platform, and all those who are interested in current trends in adult education in Slovakia and abroad.

Recognized professionals from the field of adult education from abroad accepted the invitation to the event. Presentations in the first part of the program focused on non-formal learning, motivation, and participation of adults in education, in the second part of the program focused on environments that motivate learning.

The conference, which presented many examples of good practices in various areas of adult education in our country, was part of the long-term activities of EPALE Slovakia in building a community of experts in adult education and efforts to increase the participation of the adult population of the Slovak Republic.
