The conference ''Validation in the voluntary sector - past, present, and future'' will take place in The Netherlands in January 2021.

 

The aims of the conference

  • To bring together people/organisations that have actively been involved in validation projects and activities in the voluntary sector.
  • To contribute to coherence and synchronization when it comes to validation projects and activities in the voluntary sector.
  • To support and encourage new initiatives in this field.
  • To increase the impact of validation in the voluntary sector.

 

Provisional conference program

  • Sunday 24 January 2021
    Arrivals
  • Monday 25 January 2021
    Morning session: sharing experiences and outcomes from the period 2014 – 2021
    Afternoon session: discussions about what is missing
  • Tuesday 26 January
    Morning session: recent developments (New Erasmus+ Program, Evaluation of Validation Policy, EQF, new Europass Platform)
    Afternoon session: perspectives on the future: strengthening the validation infrastructure in the voluntary sector, creating stronger connections between developments on EU- and national level and the voluntary sector.

 

Key Action 1 of the Erasmus+ Program offers the opportunity to apply for funding to cover your costs for travel, subsistence, and participation. Check the website of your Erasmus+ National Agency for the application form. The deadline to submit your application is 5 February 2020, 12:00 CET.
