Irish Childcare Scheme Information for Parents

Given that a lack of accessible, affordable childcare is often a barrier parents face to education, the Irish National Childcare Scheme may be of interest to many of those working in adult education. From October 2019 The National Childcare Scheme will replace all previous targeted childcare programmes in Ireland, with a single, streamlined and user-friendly Scheme to help parents meet the cost of quality childcare.

Le projet BET a été initié par 4 partenaires, en France, Italie et en Espagne afin de promouvoir les compétences et les connaissances sur le Biocontrôle par des contenus de formation en ligne innovants et faciles d’accès.

Motivational interview (MI) has been designed as a method that will help medical professionals to inspire and sustain patients habit changes, for example: stop eating sugar, take your medication on time. The need for this method was very obvious: patients easily lose motivation to sustain change and sometimes they are not sure why they should change in the first place.

Le 23 mai  2019, Lire et Écrire Communauté française organisait un séminaire sur les effets de la numérisation des services publics sur les publics peu qualifiés et illetrés. Une synthèse de la journée a été réalisée sur EPALE.

The Economic and Social Research Institute(ESRI) conducted an independent evaluation of the Youthreach programme in late 2018 which has been published by SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority.

This blog reports on the lauch of the evaluation on Monday 17th June, and will give summary of the ERSI evaluation, as published by SOLAS, along with a summary of SOLAS' report and recommendations in response to the evaluation.

Our project called  Stajyerler Avrupa'da İlerliyor, which we have prepared for the students studying in Motor Vehicles Technology and Electrical-Electronics Technology departments, has been successfully completed.
Within the scope of our project, 7 students and 1 companion teacher from the Department of Motor Vehicles Technology went to Colegiul Tehnic Dimitrie Leonida training center in Romania between 20.01.2019-02.02.2019 and made an internship on Hybrid and Electric Motors.

The realized film becomes the mouthpiece of the participants and encourages dialogue between different social groups and thus helps dissolve prejudices and stereotypes.

Voor sommige jongeren met een autismespectrumstoornis is de stap van school naar job of hogeschool te groot. In de school De Passer in Brugge werken ze in een schakeljaar hard aan hun zelfredzaamheid. Dit project krijgt steun van het Fonds ICT-community for ASD, beheerd door de Koning Boudewijnstichting.

The work was led by Simen Markussen, Senior Research Fellow at The Frisch Centre.

Migrants who decide - whether voluntarily or involuntarily – to leave their home-country are confronted with a change of their frame of reference that helps oneself in a social system to reduce the world to a calculable section in which one can find its own way and in which one can interact.
