    On Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 March 2016 the last phase of the LLL-HUB project, which has been running for a bit more than 2 years, took place in Mechelen. About 250 national experts from across Europe, as well as high-level EU decision-makers and key stakeholders, gathered in order to exchange best practices, experiences and views. Professor Herman Baert from the Centre for Research on Professional Learning and Development, Corporate Training and Lifelong Learning, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium delivered on of the opening speeches. He talked about lifelong learning as an important and holistic answer to challenges in our societies when embedded in partnerships with the learner as a partner.
