We are CPIA di Salerno - an Adult Education Centre based in Salerno, in the south of Italy, a state school open to Italian and foreign citizens aged 16 and over. Our students include both young NEETs and unemployed adults at risk of social exclusion, as well as migrants and asylum seekers. We also operate in prison.
We are active in the adult education field providing compulsory education programs in network with Vocational High Schools. Our activities include a range of vocational education programs and services with a strong focus on foreign languages. Other options include information technology and Italian language as a second language.
Our Mission is “transforming lives through the power of learning”.
Most of our students lack in enough knowledge, skills and qualifications to enter the labor market. For this reason, these students are at risk of social exclusion.
We are interested in exploring and sharing new methods to motivate them and help them to achieve their goals.
We are also interested in contributing in their development as active and responsible citizens.
In consortium with two other adult education centers in our region, we are looking for similar organizations to share experiences through job shadowing in the framework of a KA104 Erasmus + project.
If you are interested in cooperating with us, please contact us as soon as possible.
