The MIGRANS plan is an experimental training program intended for illiterate migrants who have never attended schools in their country of origin. It is the result of a research-action and a long professional experience with pre-illiterate asylum seekers and total illiterates. Compared to the training offer currently provided in Italy in adult training centers in a formal and informal context, the MIGRANS plan is innovative with respect to the articulation of the curriculum, the syllabus and the methodology.
Some CPIA (Provincial Centres for Adult education) and other associations in Italy are currently involved in the experimentation (learn more).
