Idalina Lopes, from Portugal, had to leave school early to support her family. Working in textile factories, she knew she had capability for more. She returned to school as an adult, blazing her own trail to university and, ultimately, her own legal practice.
"I always thought I had capability for more. Persist and never give up," says Idalina Lopes from Portugal. Adult learning gave her a second beginning - forced to drop out during her initial education, after 30 years she finished school at Kerigma and started university studies. Now with her own legal practice, she recounts her story and the challenges she faced in a short documentary, which is part of the Live and Learn video series.
