Our project called Stajyerler Avrupa'da İlerliyor, which we have prepared for the students studying in Motor Vehicles Technology and Electrical-Electronics Technology departments, has been successfully completed.
Within the scope of our project, 7 students and 1 companion teacher from the Department of Motor Vehicles Technology went to Colegiul Tehnic Dimitrie Leonida training center in Romania between 20.01.2019-02.02.2019 and made an internship on Hybrid and Electric Motors.
In this internship on the maintenance and repair of hybrid and electric engines, which have started to replace diesel and similar engines based on fossil fuel, whose usage area has decreased due to the recent developments in the automotive sector, our students:
1.day: Examination of Hybrid Engine system on the model vehicle,
2.day: Examination of Electricity Engine structure and mounting of parts,
3.day: Hybrid Series Drive system and practice on a model,
4.day: Hybrid Parallel Drive system and practice on a model,
5.day: Maintaining (Overhaul), Dismantling and Mounting of thePower Unit (Generator) The weekend was spent on city sightseeing and cultural activities. In the second week:
1.day: Battery types and maintaining (Overhaul),
2.day: Dismantling and Mounting of the Battery,
3.day: Troubleshooting of Hybrid Engines,
4.and 5.day: Hybrid Engines regular maintaining (Overhaul).
Another group of students in our project, Electronic-Electronic Technology students went to Vyšší odborná škola a Střední průmyslová škola elektrechnická Františka Křižíka in the Czech Republic between 03.03.2019-16.03.2019. Our students had two weeks internship in SCADA and MACHINE CONTROL STUDIO which are the leading automation systems. In this internship in which 6 students and 1 companion teacher participated, especially regarding robotics and PLC programme automation infrastructures used in the remote control industry, the program was as follows:
1.day: SCADA software: interface presentation and examination of examples
2.day: SCADA software: the practice of monitoring and alarm systems
3.day: SCADA software: the practice of data collection, analyze and report systems
4.day: SCADA software: the practice of Remote Terminal Unit and communication systems
5.day: SCADA software: the practice of Master Terminal Unit and programme functions
Weekend: Trip and cultural activity.
1.day: SCADA software: creating automation on model work scenarios
2.day: Machine Control Studio: presentation of interface and examination of examples
3.day: Machine Control Studio: the practice of ST programme language
4.day: Machine Control Studio: the practice of LD programme language
5.day: Machine Control Studio: the practice of M400 Onboard PLC
Faced with numerous and repetitive negativities such as the lack of interest of students, come from disadvantaged groups and insufficient of the firms in the region, our school has taken an important step towards correcting the problems with this project. With the programs they offer, new horizons have been gained to the students with the support of host institutions that provide opportunities for students that are not available in our region and school, and they have helped to increase their interest in their professions. Through this project, our students, who also have the documents that will strengthen their employment through, have started to be regarded as respected and successful by their families and environment. It is also thought that our students who have improved their chances to work in related professions after graduating from our school with these programs which are prepared for the needs of the industry and who develop themselves by having a good experience may change the profile of our school in a positive way in the following years. Our school has helped its own development with this activity on prepared behalf of its students and has increased its capacity to make similar initiatives in the future with this project it has prepared. Our school, which has brought this one-year project from start to finish and has managed a successful process with the exception of some minor problems, will continue to use these positive achievements on behalf of its students and make similar initiatives for new generations. Developing the communication and cooperation network, our school has started to reap the fruits of this network provided that it starts from the internship period.
