This free seminar is part of the Open University's Access, Participation and Success Seminar Series 2019-2020. It is in collaboration with the Social Partnerships Network and is taking place at the UNISON offices in London.

This event will include presentations and panel discussion exploring the state of adult learning in the UK with an eye to the future. A draft programme is now available on the Open University website.

The seminar will be convened by Dr John Butcher, Director - Access & Open at The Open University. The panel includes representatives from:

  • UNISON (Trade Union)
  • NEC (National Extension College)
  • LWI (Learning and Work Institute)
  • WEA (Workers Educational Association)
