The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a new process to begin in the field of education all over the world. Turkey also in accordance with the decisions taken by the university from March 16, 2020 "Emergency Distance Education Practice" was started online and the process of education and training is provided continuity in the learning environment. Undoubtedly, in the monitoring and evaluation of the “Emergency Distance Education Application”, the problem of which measurement and evaluation approaches will be adopted, especially at the point of validity and reliability of learning outcomes, has also been encountered. In this context, within the scope of “Emergency Distance Education Application”, it is important to share experiences about how measurement and evaluation is performed in online learning environments and what kind of problems are encountered and to discuss future strategies in this field, to plan the next process better and to be prepared for possible similar situations.
The aim of this workshop, organized by Yozgat Bozok University Distance Education Application and Research Center, is to bring together institution managers and field experts in order to share experiences and future goals for measurement and evaluation in online learning environments. The workshop consists of two parts. In the first part, sharing the problems experienced in measurement and evaluation in online learning environments, the solutions produced and the learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic process; In the second part, it is aimed to determine future strategies in the process of measurement and evaluation in online learning environments.
The workshop will be held as an online conference on September 23, 2020.
