It is with pleasure that we invite you to NALA's free conference on plain English and how organisations can communicate more effectively with the public. The conference will take place on Friday 7 September in The National College of Ireland in Dublin.
There are a lot of interesting speakers including the Attorney General, Séamus Woulfe and representatives from the Data Protection Commission, the Office of the Ombudsman, the ETB (Education and Training Board) Adult Literacy Service and other plain English experts. These speakers will be relevant to your work. Moreover, you can take part in a workshop on plain English or writing for the web in the afternoon. If you or some of your colleagues would like to attend, please register online.
