Our colleague Krunčica attended the Erasmus+ course „ICT Tools for a Creative and Collaborative Classroom” held in Lisbon from the 22nd to the 27th of April 2024.

She chose this course because it was designed for teachers who want to learn about online applications and environments that enhance collaborative work and creativity. By participating in this course, she aims, in her own words, "....to make my classes more engaging by involving students in exciting collaborative projects and creative online activities, utilizing learned tools."

The course began with icebreaker activities that helped the group get to know each other. Afterward, each of the attendees held a presentation about their respective institutions.  Throughout the rest of the week, the whole class engaged in practical activities and got hands-on experience in using and creating content with multiple applications including Padlet, Slido, Digiboard, and Canva, among others.

The course provided ample opportunities for reflection and discussion regarding the strengths and weaknesses of these tools, and how they can be effectively integrated into Uciliste Magistra's teaching contexts. Special emphasis was placed on web solutions and applications that foster inclusivity, allowing students with diverse learning needs and abilities to fully participate, and sustainability, promoting paper-free and effective use of school resources. By the end of the course, "I gained skills to use multiple online tools that will undoubtedly help me with my teaching and enhance the learning experience for students. I look forward to implementing these innovative tools and sharing the outcomes with my colleagues".
